Inspired by world-renowned artist Mister Cartoon, the design features a reverse colorway from the '19-20 uniform. This season, the LA Clippers and Mister Cartoon are challenging young creators, athletes, and innovators to Make Your Mark in Los Angeles. When the team wears City Edition on the court, it will be a symbol of our commitment to driving progress in LA and a call for the next generation of talent to put in the work!

Mister Cartoon is an iconic artist in LA. In the early days people knew him for his illustration, street art, and tattoos. Serving as a mentor and inspiration to emerging LA artists, Mister Cartoon has paved the way for the next generation of creators in the city.

LA-based, Seoul-born graffiti and street artist, Chris Shim aka Royyal Dog, is best known for his photorealistic murals donning walls around cities worldwide. Royyal Dog's larger-than-life art is a symbol of multiculturalism and serves as an inspiration to artists aiming to make their mark. Royyal Dog's take on "Los Angeles" is pictured here. The Chinese characters in the "L" mean game-changer, and the character in the "A" stands for encouragement. In his words, both marks illustrate what is possible through teamwork.
